The world’s largest electronics producer is getting ready to construct tractors.

Foxconn, a Taiwan-based firm that has provided and assembled merchandise for Apple, Google, Microsoft, and plenty of different manufacturers, has signed a contract manufacturing settlement with Monarch Tractor — a California-based firm that’s planning to mass produce small, driver-optional, electrical tractors.

The settlement, which was introduced August 9, will see Foxconn construct the low-horsepower tractors and battery packs at a newly-acquired 6.2 million sq. foot facility that additionally builds electrical autos in Ohio.
